PEAMUN is Phillips Exeter Academy's annual Model UN conference. Every fall, Phillips Exeter Academy's Model UN club hosts PEAMUN on our campus, drawing high school and middle school delegates from all over the New England area. At PEAMUN, delegates have the chance to delve into the world of international affairs, public speaking, and diplomatic skills, all the while utilizing creative freedom in their various committees through policy debate. Students simulate roles as delegates to the United Nations from a particular nation and serve as representatives of that country’s policies. Students at PEAMUN are pushed to heighten their understanding of the international system through 9 mini-simulations, ranging from standard committees like the UN General Assembly to crisis simulations of various national cabinets, corporate boards, and political organizations.

Our conferences focuses on being a valuable learning experience, especially for newer delegates. Model UN is a valuable experience that teaches students public speaking, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Our fully-trained staff will provide feedback for all delegates, and is always looking for ways to help.

Last year, we were fortunate to welcome over 600 delegates and over 20 schools to PEAMUN. This year, we are working hard to make sure that this conference will be the best ever, and have opened registration to middle schools. We can't wait to meet you.
