Topic: Global Agricultural Council
As delegates, you will be the Ministers of Agriculture for your respective countries. In this committee, you will face a seemingly insurmountable task of solving a global agricultural crisis caused by a rare crop disease. In a matter of weeks, tensions will rise, food security will vanish, and the world will enter a desperate scramble for survival.
It is your job as delegates on the Global Agricultural Council to come together and attempt to solve this crisis. Remember, the fate of global food security is in your hands, and given the seriousness of the subject, failure could mean irreversible catastrophe, possibly even leading to human extinction.

My name is David Liu (he/him), and I am a junior at Phillips Exeter. I'm from Exeter, NH, and I am super excited to be a committee chair for this year's PEAMUN. I participated in two MUN conferences last year and enjoyed both. I started MUN in 8th grade and have enjoyed every part of it. Outside of MUN, I am involved in many clubs such as Economics and Biology Club as well as playing soccer and tennis. In my free time, I like to follow sports, mainly the Celtics and Patriots. I look forward to seeing you all in the spring!

Hi Delegates! My name is Soha Dar, and I am a current junior now living in New Hampshire, but originally from Illinois. This marks my second year participating Model UN, which I have been in love with since I joined. Hence, I am very excited to be helping run a conference for the first time! Outside of Model UN, I play the guitar, spend time with my friends and family, workout, and read books/watch movies. I am involved in various clubs and organizations through writing for The Exeter Review and through playing in a band for the various concerts organized by the Exeter Association of Rock. I am beyond excited to create a great experience for this year's conference!
